Shoes and Pizza

 Hellow. 

 Has anyone got sick with Corona? hope nobody gets, or recover soon. 

Recently I have posted on my fan page (wall photo  for Yogi And Furriends  Spring 2020) .

In the photo, I have sujjested and demonstrated how to protect yourself from virus.

And many of furriends had forgotten about the last thing in the photo. 

That was about taking off shoes inside a house.

people go to public places with their shoes, (public bathroom, streets, stores, parks etc) 

you might step on dog poo in a park, or walk on the floor after someone dropped

pee in the public bathroom, or walked on the street after someone spat, 

Are you going to enter in your house, and walk around with the shoes you might stepped on something nasty from public? 　

If you are not comfortable with walking in your house with socks, or barefoot, 

you can wear slippers or use old, comfy shoes  as  your room shoes (before use them as room shoes,  wash and clean them) ,  and tell everyone in your house to do the same. 

 And Don't we need to be careful when we share food with others?

I mean Sharable food like Dips, and large bagged snack.

 

 Food like this pizza in the photo(or anything with dipping sauce share with others), 

you might want or need to dip your pizza after every bite. if you share the food like this

with other people, other people probably dip their pizza slice after every bite too. 

maybe you ask Pizza place for extra dipping sauce for per purrson (you can buy extra dipping sauce

at Domino Pizza), or divide the sauce with spoon on small plate for per purrson.

And I wonder if chips in large bag is safe to share with others. if you know you were going to share

with other people before opening a bag, you should divide and give each purrson, but probably should not share chips by allowing others to put their hand in the bag.

even sharing food with your furrmily members, you should be careful in this Corona time.

One thing I worry about is the shipping cost for the international customers who live
outside of USA.  (Shipping cost to Canada/Mexico is bit cheapter)
For example, if you live in Japan, Europe, etc..(except Canada/Mexico), and if you buy the notebook above, shipping cost $22.33 will be charged in addition to the price of the item ($15), so your total for the note book alone is $38.33!!! who wants to pay for that much, only for a notebook?
but if you buy 2 or 3, the shipping cost is the same (up to 2 lbs) , so I recommend International customers to order multiple items at once, or order with friends who live in the same city/country
(so you can pay shipping half-half).  We have adjusted shipping setting on our Etsy listing that they calculate by total weights of your order, they do not charge more than the actual shipping cost.
(for US customers as well).

And anything cause more than 1/4 "(approx 5mm) thickness is considered package, not letter or letter shaped package, also letter package does not allow anything can not bend easily, so like Yogi calendar, although made of paper, and flat, it has spiral wire bound, it causes ,more than 1/4/'thickness. so We can not ship calendar with letter package with cheaper shipping cost.

To not let customers feel as if they have paid too much, we of course always add free goodies for any order.

And Please check Custom duty fee/regulation in your country before shopping.

Hellow.

As some of you might have noticed,
suddenly my You tube channel (Yogi TV) has got lots of viewers recently
('cause we have uploaded live concert videos of the popular band).

Momsy told my manager to make videos for Yogi TV more,
something useful.. such as the idea of cleaning house, although many people
already make videos like that.

And we have made one today.

My Manager often complains that she can not find Coffee jelly in USA
(although many people enjoy coffee here in US), so we show you the recipe.

Can we buy these Vegan beauty products ?

 Hellow.
 Recently my manager has received samples of Loreal Shampoo and Conditioner,
She wants to buy beauty products that are not tested on animals,
and she knew Loreal was not "Not tested on Animals",
so she knew she was not going to buy the shampoo and conditioner as long as
they were from Loreal, but she did not want to throw the samples away, so she
decided to use,  But ..
Surprise! she found the words " Vegan" "Not tested on Animals" on the  package.
Seriously? Loreal?

She also knows that Nutrogena skin care have Natural products which are
also "Not tested on Animals".

When you need to buy Vegan skin care or hair care product at the grocery store,

there are not many choice as you might know.

Some stores carry Vegan products lately ( I mean certified ones such as Alba Botanica,

Yes to.., Bart's Bees) , but not enough to choose, and yet expensive, 

So if the familiar brand like Nutrogena and Loreal sell "Not tested on Animals" products,

it'll be very convenient, and helpful. it gives us more choice.

But can we buy those products? 

this does not mean many other products from Loreal and Nutrogena are 

also "Vegan". 

this is very confusing. we want to buy Vegan products with words "Not tested on animals"

but if we buy those Loreal shampoo or Nutrogena Natural skincare products,

the money will go and support the companies who are not 100% vegan. 

why do those companies  make and sell those vegan products if they are not 100% certified vegan companies? 

I want to see the bunny or the words " not tested on animals" on all products from 

those companies in the future. (I hope)

Telegraph News website (UK)

  As I showed off many times last year, I was on media as one of Trump look cats.
One of those media were Telegraph News website (UK).

Recently we checked if the website was still visible from USA.
( the article I was on was written and published a year ago).
O yes, the website URL was still valid, but when we clicked "Share",
we've got an error message which said "this feature is no longer available",
so we thought the article on the website might be removed anytime.
And we wanted to keep it before it becomes unavailable.
we took screenshot the article from the beginning to the end
(over 15 pages) ,  then created the slideshow,
so we can now see them as a video.

we've uploaded  it on our You Tube channel just now.



I was also featured on OK magazine (UK) website back then.

I was on OK magazine website too,
but OK magazine website was not visible in USA, so we asked UK friends
if they could see. They checked and sent us screenshots. (shown above)

I seemed to have been bit late for being famous in USA.
I heard that many media in US were talking about Trump Your Cat  around June~July
in 2015, my first photo submission was Sept 2015. so that's why I was on Media only overseas.

But better than nothing, of course.

Customer support via SNS

As you can imagine, my manager uses PC and mobile a lot daily.
contacting and getting the latest photos of me from my Momsy,
hosting my pages, updating my page twice a day,
update my Instagram,  designing for merchandise, and so on,

And often gets technical problem with her devices.
The first thing most people do is to call the customer support, but
she has not confidence in explaining her problems over the phone, in English,
often wishes that she could show the customer support people her problem in photos.

So she used to write to the customer support in E-mail,
but E-mail does not allow photos to attach,
and she has to explain all her problem in one message,
writing a full explanation takes time.

I don't know how she found, but I think
oneday she saw a tweet from a phone company about a new product,
and asked a question,
then she got the answer very quickly,
so she has started using Twitter whenever she got a question, or when she needed
technical support,
she tried Outlook, T-Mobile, USPS,  Samsung, HP etc..
all of those business immediately replied via Twitter,
until they hear  "it was fixed, thank you" from her,
 they do not stop writing her back.
she can attach the photos to her message as well.
so she does not need to write full (long) explanation, and the
companies understand what the problem is immediately.

they do not stop commuinicating until they hear me say "fixed!"

Major companies/business Twitter accts allow people to send messages with/without follow.
(*between individual accts, you must follow each other(with friends, celebrities)
 in order to send message).

My manager has got supports from all those companies via Twitter immediately.

I thought this way to contact support is faster and convenient,
so I decided to talk about it here today.
try it next time you need help from business.

As you guys know, I use 2 languages on my SNS -English, and Japanese.
(why? because I'm interenational, and prejident).
I bet many of you have seen me hosting Japanese friends in Japanese language on FB,
Twitter etc.. and I have 2 blogs that 1 is here, and 1 is Japanese version.
Often 2 my blogs do talk about different topics,
I mean Japanese one is not the translated version of this English version of Yogi blog.
if you do not understand Japanese, but want to know what my Japanese blog topics are,
you gotta ask someone fluent in the language to translate for you.

But  Do not use GOOGLE, BING  etc.., I do not recommend online translator,
because inaccurate.
I show you here example.

The latest posts from my other blog (Japanese)

the part in blue, says 頑張って書くわ
(means "I'll write with my best", or "I'll write very hard")
　
I put the sentence in Bing translator

See? it can not translate correctly. Bing says what I said in Japanese means
"Good luck and Write".
then I put the sentence in the translator, to translate into Japanese.

O No, it did not translate the same as original words I first entered.
Can you see?


Another example

Japanese sentence in the blue area : あたしの写真持ってポーズしてくれって
頼まれたチェロズ、びっくりしただろうね。
（2 Cellos must have been surprised(or shocked) when they were asked to hold my photo).

This time, I put the sentence into Google,

It says " I was surprised", (not 2 Cellos).

Some people think they can be friends with anyone in the world because
they can use online translator,
I have seen on FB that a friend from Europe commented my Japanese friend that
"you are so sweet", in Japanese.

But no such expression in Japanese with the word "Sweet",
but the friend apparently did not know it,  and believed what Google gave her was correct,
she pasted the words as her comment to my Japanese friend, that looked very strenji, and even
RUDE.
'cause if you tell Japanese people "you are sweet" it means, the person is immature, or inexperience, don't think things seriously.. like that.

So be careful of using online translator, if you need help,
asking someone who is fluent in the language is  the best.

I have been thinking of how to take care of this Blog space,
also my other SNS.

What can I do here ?
Our friend Daisy, the Curly cat has quit her blog 1-2 yrs ago.
her mom said she has been busy and  updating her blog was difficult.
('cause need to find the topics to write daily, weekly...)
I feel the same,
since this Blog title is "Daily Yogi", it sounds like this blog
space is for all about me.
what I do daily is sleeping 10 hours or more /day, eet, and babysit, that's
the reality of "Daily Yogi". I rarely have any news.
latest photos are posted on my FB page twice daily.
news are posted on my FB pages too.

What I know is that the reason people use blogs lately seems for the information about
fashion, trend, ideas, health, food etc.. about living.
so I think I'm gonna bring any kind of topics here, anything I think helpful or interesting.
OK? I will talk about it here.
Of course, if there is something about me to write, I will do so.
so I can update this blog more often, I think.

Favorite Commercial

I don't watch TV at all, so I don't know what's new on TV, or if  there are anything

 funny on TV lately. But whenever we visit on the internet, customized advertising appear 

automatically, right?  

Well, MSN thought I might like this commercial,

and showed me over and over,

... I liked it! 

Mountain Dew Kick Start ad. 

The problem is, Mountain Dew Kick Start is an energy drink.

I showed this to my child purrson, and she liked it too,
everytime we go to the store, she asks for it ever since..
and I allow her to buy only one can in 1-2 weeks.
(is it OK for children to drink?? this advertising seems for everyone,
from kids to adults).

I found this reverse version too.



According to my child purrson, it tastes good.

I don't know who picked this ad to show me, but it sure was effective to sell
us the product.

Meet 2Cellos

After The Japanese TV show in March,
my manager went to the 2Cellos concert in April.
(2Cellos - 2 Gorgeous young cellists from Croatia)
She had a VIP ticket, means she was able to meet the artists in purrson after the show.

She had nerve to ask 2Cellos for the strenjiest request for her,
And they did. (ShanQ very much!)

They don't sing, they only play the Cellos, but not just classic music,  they play popular songs as
well. Not boring, really.

My manager always wanted to show her child purrson the real instruments, and
professional person(s) who can play the instruments in live.
she thought 2 Cellos's show would be purrfect to take her child purrson.

My manager said that they were very nice and lovely people.

Me on TV!!

Good Grumpy Afternoon.

About a week ago,
I received notification for Yogi And Furriends.
it was about one of our Japanese furriends left comment on my page.
I checked what she wrote.
She said : " I was watching morning show just now, and Yogi , you were on the TV show"
I was like .."what is she talking about?????"
I immediately replied her to ask for details.
She said it was about Trump Your Cat (* Instagram page)
The TV show picked my picture to broadcast.

My manager asked people if anyone recorded the show that day.
Nobody had.
then asked them if anyone knew how to get the copy of the video of the show,
one of the friends knew a blog that I could get the copy of the video from,
we got the copy of the video of the show (within 24 hrs!!)

Yogi And Furriends (Facebook page) is back!

Good Grumpy 2016!!

I know I have not updated this blog for months.
The last post was about my fan page (Facebook) was suspended suddenly
for no reason.
It happened in August, 2015.
My people contacted FB (it was not easy, really),
and finally FB got me my page back (February 23, 2016).

Yogi And Furriends (Facebook)

We were going to merge the temporary page to the original
Yogi And Furriends when the original one was back, but
if something happened again, we will need the temporary page then,
so we decided to keep both.

Our problem was solved, but  it is not over.
the real problem is that Facebook do not think of users,
they don't think of our side of situation when problem occur.

The major problem is that FB has no User Support Dept that we can
contact by phone/e-mail/mail/in purrson or chat etc..to reach at a
real purrson at FB .
Currently, they only offer us Self-Help, and FAQ/Forum.
it wastes time a lot until you find out how to solve your problem.
(not just a phone call or e-mail away).
 many people don't know what their problems were,  and how to fix,
then some give up the acct, and create a new one.

FB don't listen to us.
Have you ever reported someone's acct or post on FB?
there is no blank on report form for us to write FB the details of
our reason why decided to report the person/posts.

This is really frustrated.

About a year ago,
I saw the "Beating cats on Valentine's Day" event by some insane people on FB,
We had discussion about it on my page (Yogi And Furriends) ,
asked celebrities to spread the post on Twitter then, 'cause even after hundreds of
people reported FB the event,  FB did not remove it by telling us
"it was not violation".

Many things of FB is strenji.
I heard that FB allowed Drug Queen people to use their business name
for their FB accts when regular people are not allowed to use fake names.
I don't say that everyone should be allowed to use fake names, but
if FB allow drug Queen people to use non-real names for their FB accts,
why don't they allow some other people too such as victims of stalking (on FB/other SNS),
young women, and teen users?

Today we can customize so many things,
but FB still believe their manual is 120% always right,
they don't think/accept "unusual case"
If our questions are not found in their FAQ page,
they don't want to hear it, they don't want to help,
so they do not offer
User Support Dept that we can call, or write inquiry ?

This is real story,
recently we found FB accts whose name was "Persian Cat",
and "xxxxx Kosher Deli", both using personal acct with
such names.
Using pet's name is violation, and using personal acct for
business is also violation,
so we reported, but FB said they did not find any violation.
Why do FB allow some people to use their personal accts with
fake name or business name ??
Isn't that unfair? want to tell them something??
But no phone#, no E-mail. ...(mailing address- Yes, but
not sure if anyone read and reply, some friends said
they wrote letters, but no replies),

So We started Petition for that.

Petition: Demand FB to provide us USER SUPPORT DEPT!

The photo of me and Japanese lady(shown above)was removed by FB
shortly after we posted on Yogi And Furriends in May 2014.
Not sure why, all FB said was this photo was violation,
all they gave me was the link to the page about violation,
But it said Violations are nudity, discrimination, crime,
I still don't know which violation my picture was.
But I had no place to call, write... once FB said violation, and decided
to remove it, I can not do anything.
(it is awful, if at least I heard the reason, I would understand, but
no reason was explained, and no way to ask why, and get the photo posted
back!!).

I don't want to use FB but FB is like  a Yellow Page now,
even if I do not want to use, friends/family/people in business
might expect me to be on FB for contact.
And my Yogi And Furriends page has approx 4000 fans now,
it is irresponsible to quit or move out of FB only because I don't like.

* US residents can sign the Petition from PC or Mobile,
people outside USA can sign only on PC.
(choose your country first on the form on PC).

Anyway, my page is back, and I am glad.
But Grumpy at FB.

Good Grumpy Morning!!

I almost forgot,
we have created a new blog,
but it is for storing photos and posts from Yogi and Furriends
(facebook page, currently not visible).
we have copied over 30 photo albums from Yogi and Furriends and transferred
to the new blog so far.  Mostly old photos from 2011 have been added,

Good Grumpy Afternoon!!

I had to let you guys know here as soon as it happened,
but I did not know what to say, and what to do, (we were thinking..)
and now I tell you this here today,

Have any of you been wondering where my fan page " Yogi And Furriends" is on Facebook ?
It's unpublished by FB.
not by our problem, and not our decision, but by FB.

According to FB, my fan page is violated FB policy,
and of course they don't explain what the reason.
 
The page is still on FB, but only visible to my momsy and manager (admins),
really, it's still on FB,  see?

It happened 3 weeks ago,
We have no idea why FB had to unpublish my page.
they said they found my page violated FB policy, but what did my page do?
we checked what was wrong with recent posts,
Yah, we posted this. stupid thing, was this a problem?
because it was screen shot but not from the link of website?

We were not sure about it.
Without noticing, we have posted a photo of a partically naked man before
(it was cut out from Red Book magazine, a woman 's life style magazine, not
porn magazine), then someone reported it to FB, and FB said they removed it.
So if this was not OK, they were supposed to have removed it, but when they notified us
that Yogi and furriends got unpublished, this picture was still on the page,
then I had no idea what was the violation FB talked about.

We've heard of that Sphynx cats owners have said that
FB had removed their cat's photos,
or sent warning to their account because of violation,
and they said they had no idea what
kind of violation they did.
Only thing they thought was their cats were Sphynx , and maybe
FB considered "naked cat"="naked person"="pornography"????
If so, what can I do?

We can get my page back, but in order to do that, we must find out what was
the problem on Yogi and Furriends, then remove the problem contents from the page,
then appeal to FB,  if FB still believe Yogi and Furriends is not met their policy,
they said they will remove the page permanently. (we must avoid that).

We need to inspect everything in the Original Yogi and Furriends,
the "4 year long"-page which we posted at least twice daily almost everyday,
(so can't you imagine how many posts are there?).
it's gonna be taking months to inspect everything, (I think).
And We know we can not make you guys worry, so now
my new page is on FB .

twice.
FB do not allow Porn contents, so no such pages are supposed to exist on FB,
but there were, and they posted something on cat page?

My left eye update

Good Grumpy Morning!

Sorry, I have forgotten to write about my left eye.

Remember? it looked like this in May?

This was end of May , 2015

As you see, my 3rd eye lid covered nearly 1/2 my eye ,
and the black area in the center of my eye got smaller.

Momsy said  it was probably  Horner's Syndrome, which could take months to
get better, or need treatment,

But within 2-3 weeks, my eye got improved, and now got back normal!

See?

I think I'm OK now,

Eye problem.

 As you might have seen/heard from my fan page or

My Momsy's personal FB wall, 

my eye has got strenji,

The 3rd eye lid appeared on my left eye. 

Momsy says there is no leakage, no puffiness,

no infection, One pupil won't dilate.

Has anyone had a similar experience on your cat ? 

can anyone tell what this could be?

Momsy says everything else except this left eye look fine as usual.

Could be fever?

I was really sorry for the post on my fan page Yogi And Furriends last week.
Lemme explain about my bijiness furst.

Unlike most cat/dog fan pages. My fan page, this blog, Twitter, Instagram even Yogi shop
at Etsy, are all taken cared by my manager, not my owner. OK?
and it all started not for profit for anyone, but simply because my manager thought I was very unique,
and would be very popular. also she was an artist with college degree, said she gets inspired by me
a lot for her art work.

My manager is currently stay at home mom with a child purrson,

she was from other country, far away from her furrmily, 

no grandma or any relatives around to ask for help with her child purrson's care,

can not work outside home at this time.

My Momsy (Owner) gave her purrmission to create and sell my merchandise. 

When she started selling my merchandise, she told momsy to give her part of the sales

money, momsy said not necessary, but manager did not think OK to receive 100% of

sales (since I am not her cat), she thought she should spend the part of  money for something

to make my momsy happy, and decided to give to needy animals.

(that's why we offer pledges and make donation with my name). 

My Momsy cares about animals a lot,
that's why my page often bring the animal related posts,

ask you guys for help spreading, signing to petition, and

Start the discussion about animal related issue. 

I was a homeless cat in shelter once,

but now I have a home with a purrson who takes care of me,
then it's my turn to help others. 

This is what happened about my page last week...
2-3 weeks ago,
suddenly my Momsy told my manager to close Yogi and Furriends,
Manager kept ignoring as long as she could,
opened my page daily as usual.
did not respond to Momsy for few days,
but she learned that Momsy was still saying her to close my page
last week. my manager did not want to argue with her, so
simply did what momsy said.
let me say "good bye" to fans.
then you guys started saying "NO".

So Momsy changed mind, did not allow my page to be closed.
that was wonderful that many of you let her know you cared about  my page.
ShanQ, I really appreciated.


My page will be on FB forever,
my manager has already been training her child purrson(10 yr old)
teaching her how to post photos on my page, my dialogue
(such as "Good Grumpy Morning!), child purrson wants to design
Yogi merchandise too.

I'm prejident, need social media like FB fan page to hear people's voice.

I know many of you admire my Momsy a lot, 

but when you feel she is doing wrong, please tell her so.

she won't hate you with your honest opinion.

How to Report disturbing images to FB

Good grumpy Morning,

My fan page on FB Yogi and Furriends has been talking about animal abuse/torture
articles on FB lately,

Just few hours ago, we posted something bad again.
I am terribly sorry, but couldn't help doing something.
I at least reported few disturbing images.. and today I saw new feature on report form.

FB now let us report animal abuse/torture, here is how.

when you see a photo you want to report, click the photo to see enlarge, see at the bottom for option,
then "report a photo" in the option tub, you will see this report form appear on screen,
check "I think it shouldn't be on Facebook"

then on the next page of report form, check "something else"

then check "this shows gore or bodily harm"(animal abuse/torture included)
then clickto submit.

It does not guarantee FB to remove all photos from our report, but

try.

Good Grumpy Morning!!

As many of you might have heard,  one of my roommates "Mimsy has gone on Jan 29, 2015
She was 14 yr old, older than me, had no eyeball, blind.
very smart and furriendly cat.
I am gonna post her pics here today.

 *sorry if this offend anyone, but momsy(my owner) just  placed the eye ball on her face, not glued on her face.

 Mimsy was this big in 2011-2012, as you see in the picture above (with me on sofa)
 But look at her in her recent photo with me (taken few weeks ago) below, can you see
 how small she was? I think Momsy said Mimsy was 4 lbs or so in the last month.

Mimsy liked to play with a ball.

Many people were impressed by this video that she drops the ball to
the downstair, and finds the ball by herself, then picks up, takes to the upstair
and do the same thing again. (*Again she was blind)

This Video was viewed even by the Cat Fancy magazine,
and they gave her compliment.

She was a good cat, we all will miss her, RIP Mimsy.
