Good Grumpy Afternoon!!
Yes,
as many of you might have seen it already on FB,
I have made a very first Meosic video,
I wanted to make Music/Video for more varieties of entertainment,
but just didn't know how.

Recently My furriend, a singer in Egypt, was talking about new song of Enrique Igresias.
He talked about it a lot, so I checked it out,

I watched the music video of the song by Enrique, then noticed
Hey, there was a contest for making own video with the song.
then I got an idea

- Hey, we should make one with cats!!
and we did!!

seem illegal even to make some fun video
 (You Tube is grumpy about it).
But Officially Enrique allowed fans to use his music video/song
for the contest.

He can eet anything!!

Good Grumpy Morning!!
My people had been very busy, still busy for making Yogi bag.
customers told us to make some other new merchandise too,
so now making bags and desiging new merchandise, then updating
Yogi and furriends on FB, and hosting Twitter daily.
that's the excuse of why we did not update this blog for months.

Anyway, today I'd like to introduce one of my furriends from Japan.
He has been on this blog before as the cat who eets strawberries.
The cat who enjoys eeting strawberries.

He can eet anything!!

It is cute and healthy to eet fruits, but this boy actually eets some non-food items as well.
that's scary, he lives with 2 humans (1 man, 1 woman) and elderly feline roommate, and
both his humans have daytime jobs. they are usually not at home daytime on weekdays.
then he probably acts like what Tom & Jerry do whien humans are not around.
He went to the vet for emergency twice in 2014, first it was in January, then
he was taken to yesterday also.
why? because he ate something not considered "food".
his humans were not really sure but they said this rag seemed the victim,
some knot parts were gone.

can you see? the knot parts were gone?

this is scary, imagine your cats eet something not food when you were away, then
hen you get home, and see your cats,
they look quiet, less active, not like how they usually are.
but you don't know what happened to them. it sure is scary, and frustrating.
This boy often eets strenji stuff.

Bananas( not riped as you see)

Spray that pets can feel bitter taste when they lick, his owners use this
but does not work very well 

How can his humans teach him what is OK to eet, and what is Not OK to eet?

Grumpy shopping experience at Hobby Lobby

Good Grumpy Evvning!!

We have made new Yogi bag recently,

Although we said this was "NOT FOT SALE",
my fans have started saying "Sign me up!".
Well.., looked like we have to make some for SALE.
(*we've got a new high-tech sewing machine earlier
this month, and made this bag just to see how the machine work).
So we decided to go get some fabric.

We went to the Hobby Lobby (* Craft shop in US).
The same fabric was in stock, and we were able to get it.
we always like to shop in the store, stay there for
2-3 hours everytime (really).
We enjoy to see new products, or something we did not know.

But I got grumpy this time!!
2 things bothered me, got me grumpy in Hobby Lobby.

#1. Hunting Themed home decor items,
I do not like this item particularly!!!

Looks like a young boy has got a deer.
I don't say that Craft shop must be animal friendly,
but other decoration items for Hunting theme, was like
faux animal head made of wood or other materials but not real
animals. those are OK to me, but photo like this looks real,
even if it's fake, it can suggest people to go hunting.
(scary thing is that a very young boy in this photo).
why does the store carry merchandise like this?

#2. Real FUR

this is the leather craft aisle in the store,
can you see the furs at the bottom of the photo?
I checked the label, says those were rabbit furs.
are they necessary to be there?

there are more art materials made of animals
such as paint brushes, goat skins for drawing,
and those leather in this photo,
we have used leather code for making Yogi necklace,
and  sold Yogi bag made with leather (partially),
so I can't tell the store should not sell or ban leather.
but Real Fur as craft material .. not sure if the store
should carry it for people to buy easily.

I hope the store carry faux leather/suade at least,
and faux fur that people can use for their fur craft.

Is Easter important holiday to celebrate?

Good Grumpy Afternoon!
I've  just seen horrible article on FB.
It was about Easter.
I was born in other country, grew up there, not in US,
I've never been explained what kind of holidays or celebration
Easter is, still don't know how it began or what for.
All I know are the candies sold in store around this time of year
with images of bunnies, sheeps, and ducks, or baby chicks.
To me, looks like Valentine's kind of celebration.

Anyway  if it's like gift exchanging or Candy give away celebration,
that's OK, but please,
please DO NOT consider buying a live bunny, chick etc.
for a gift to someone.
(only OK if you will get one for yourself to take care as your pet responsibly, I think).

This is a Bunny who was given to someone as a gift for Easter.
the little child purrson in the house has cut off her ears and toes for fun.
Most people who read this blog or my fan page know this is wrong,
I assume,
but there are pet shops still exist few in every cities/states, and they
carry Bunnies to sell throughout year.
probably more Bunnies are sold in stores in Spring for Easter.
I heard that many Bunnies are brought to local shelter after Easter every year also.
Please tell people around you not consider real live animals to be in their Easter parties.

The 3rd Anniversary of Yogi And Furriends (my fan page on Facebook)

Today, March 2, is the 3rd Anniversary
of my fan page.

I want to talk about how my fan page has started.
In the summer of 2010, my momsy (owner)
became furriends with my manager (Imoe) on Facebook.
coincidentally they found out that they both lived in CO.
(my manager thought we were British, only because she had
never seen Sphynx cats in her area, CO, she thought that
people owned many Sphynx cats were all British).

As many of you know, my momsy has been on FB as
Hattie Angles , that is the name of one of the cats in my house,
the Skinny little girl.  the profile pic of the acct was this.(below)

My manager was interested in Sphynx cat, and thought
Hattie looked unique,
so everytime she saw the new photos posted by Momsy,
she visited Momsy's page to leave comments.
Oneday my manager has learned that one of Hattie's room mates,
looked very strenji-that was me! Yogi!

She was teasing me a lot, but
my Momsy knew she was my #1 fan,
Momsy never forgot to tag my manager in
my photos then.

My manager is the genius of discovering something strenji.
She thought I was super unique.
She wanted to create/manaji fan page for a cat, but
her cat was boring (an ordinary Tuxedo cat).
She wanted a fan page like her furriend Luna's (the fashion kitty)
with many audience.
She had an idea to create mine.
She has got a purrmision from my Momsy for creating
my fan page on FB!
My Momsy didn't believe that I'd be popular by the fan page,
but Hey, look! now I have nearly 3000 fans on FB alone,
and almost 1000 followers on Twitter,
yet many celebs and people in Media know me too.
And I can donate money for needy furriends
by selling my merchandise.
(that makes me feel belly good).
Glad at least I can help others by me
being in public.
we (me, my momsy and manajer) like
to meet many people via my fan page as well..

2-22 Japan Official Cat Day.

Good Grumpy Morning.
Today, 2-22 (Feb 22) is the official cat day in Japan.
I remember that even local US news used to report the 2-22 event from Japan
but I don't see it anymore.
The event I used to see on News was
the contest for the cats with unique skills,
such as the cat who scratches his owner's leather jacket.
(the jacket looked miserable!!) but looks like
no contest anymore on 2-22.

But there is a new event for 2-22.
what I heard for this year, was the Special restaurant that
opens only for few days (Feb21-24) ,
it's the event for 2-22 by Fancy Feast Japan.
(FYI, the Brand name is called "Mon Petit" in Japan, not
Fancy Feast), only the people who own ,or love cats are qualified
to eat at there (need reservation) and for free.

According to her, those are Special Donuts for celebrating The Cat Day.
(quantity is limited, and only for today or this weekend in Japan).
Aren't they cute?
